Hello, fellow fabric fanatics! I'm Sandi, and if you're anything like me, your heart beats in stitches and your home is probably covered in a fine layer of thread fuzz. I kicked off my journey on the East Coast (brrr!), but my internal compass finally pointed me to the sunny shores of San Diego, California back in '85. And let me tell you, it's been paradise ever since!

My true obsession? Scrappy, traditional pieced, and paper pieced quilting. There's just something about wrangling a wild fabric stash into submission that makes my creative juices flow! And speaking of challenges, I'm pretty sure hand quilting is whispering my name from the future... stay tuned for that adventure!

Since officially hanging up my "work" hat in July 2024, I've been diving headfirst into a glorious, fabric-filled abyss. You could say I've gone full-on quilting crazy =^.^= (and yes, that's my nod to the purr-fect companions who often supervise my sewing sessions!).

This love affair with fabric isn't just a whim; it's practically written into my DNA! Quilting and sewing have been passed down through at least four generations in my family. How cool is that? And the cherry on top? I get to share this incredible passion with my amazing Mom. It's truly a gift to create side-by-side with her.
